في إطار مشاركته في الدورة 38 لمجلس حقوق الإنسان بالأمم المتحدة المنعقدة حاليا بمدينة جنيف السويسرية ، عقد وفد يمثل مؤسسة ماعت للسلام والتنمية وحقوق الإنسان والتحالف الدولي للسلام والتنمية اليوم الأربعاء 27 يونيه 2018 ، لقاءا مع مكتب المقرر الخاص المعني بحالة المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان .
وقد صرح أيمن عقيل رئيس مؤسسة ماعت ومنسق التحالف ، بأن اللقاء تضمن تعريف مكتب وفريق السيد المقرر الخاص بالتحالف وأهدافه ومبررات نشأته وخطته المستقبلية ، والتأكيد على أن التحالف يتحرك بشكل بعيد تماما عن التحيزات السياسية والأيديولوجية ، وانه لا يرفع شعار سوى شعار اتحدوا من أجل السلام .
وقال عقيل أن اللقاء تناول أيضا التحديات وحملات التخويف التي تستهدف نشطاء حقوق الإنسان في بعض المناطق وتحديدا في المنطقة العربية ، وأبلغ الوفد مكتب السيد المقرر بالشكوى التي قامت مؤسسة ماعت والتحالف بتقديمها لمجلس حقوق الإنسان في شهر مايو الماضي ضد قطر ، والتي قامت بأعمال تخويف وترويع للتحالف وأعضائه خلال الدورة 37 لمجلس حقوق الإنسان .
وأشار عقيل إلى ان الشكوى استندت إلى قرار مجلس حقوق الانسان في دورته الثانية العشرة برقم 12/12 والذي “يدعو الأمين العام لتقديم تقرير إلى المجلس سنوياً، يتضمن تجميعاً وتحليلاً لأي معلومات متاحة ، من جميع المصادر المناسبة ، بشأن الأعمال الانتقامية المزعومة ضد النشطاء.
وكانت مؤسسة ماعت والتحالف قد تعرضا في شهر مارس الماضي لحملة شرسة من التخويف والترهيب من خلال نشر الشائعات الكاذبة ضدها لعرقلة عملها، وإثنائها عن القيام بدورها المتعلق بالمشاركة في الفعاليات الأممية بما يخدم قضايا حقوق الإنسان في العالم، وتضمنت هذه الحملة استخدام إسم الأمم المتحدة بشكل يحتوي على تدليس واضح، وتضمنت الشكوى استعراض مؤشرات وادلة تثبت ضلوع دولة قطر ودعمها لعملية الترهيب والتخويف ونشر الشائعات التي استهدفت المؤسسة والتحالف .
كما تناول اللقاء مع السيد ميشال فورست مناقشة سبل التعاون والتنسيق بين التحالف ومؤسسة ماعت من جانب وبين مكتب المقرر الخاص من جانب آخر ، يما يساهم في مساعدة جهود المدافعين عن حقوق الإنسان في العالم وحمايتهم من عمليات الترهيب والتخويف والاستقطاب السياسي والأيديولوجي
الجدير بالذكر أن ولاية المقرر الخاص المعني بالمدافعين عن حقوق الإنيان تم انشائها أول مرة بموجب قرار لجنة حقوق الانسان رقم 61/2000 بتاريخ 26 ابريل 2000، وتم تمديد الولاية اخر مرة بموجب قرار مجلس حقوق الانسان رقم 34/5 بتاريخ 23 مارس 2017
وتحرص مؤسسة ماعت والتحالف الدولي للسلام والتنمية خلال مشاركتهما في الدورة 38 على فتح قنوات للتعاون والتنسيق مع الخبراء الأمميين بما يخدم قضايا السلام والتنمية في العالم ، ويساهم في تعزيز مشاركة منظمات المجتمع المدني في صنع القرار الأممي ، ودعم الآليات الدولية لحماية حقوق الإنسان .
On the margins of their participation in the 38th session of the Human Rights Council in Geneva

As part of his participation in the 38th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council, which is currently taking place in the Swiss city of Geneva, a delegation representing Maat for Peace and development and human rights and the international Coalition for Peace and Development on Wednesday, 27 June 2018, meeting with the Office of the Special Rapporteur on the situation of defenders on human rights.
Ayman Okeil, chairman of Maat and coordinator of the Alliance, stated that the meeting included the definition of the office and team of Mr. Special Rapporteur of the Alliance, its objectives and the rationale for its establishment and his future plan, the assertion that the alliance is moving quite far away from political and ideological prejudices, and that it only lifts the slogan of Unite For peace.
Okeil said that the meeting also addressed challenges and intimidation campaigns targeting human rights activists in some areas, specifically in the Arab region, and the delegation was informed the Office of the Rapporteur, the complaint made by Maat and the coalition, submitted to the Human Rights Council in May against Qatar, which carried out a Intimidation of the alliance and its members during the 37th session of the Human Rights Council.
Okeil noted that the complaint was based on the decision of the Human Rights Council at its 12th session No. 12/12, which “invites the Secretary-General to submit a report to the Council annually, containing a compilation and analysis of any available information, from all appropriate sources, on alleged reprisals against activists.
In March, Maat and the coalition were subjected to a vicious campaign of intimidation by spreading false rumors against them to disrupt their work and dissuading them from participating in international events to serve human rights issues in the world, this campaign included the use of the name of The United Nations in a form of clear fraud, the complaint included a review of indications and evidence of the involvement of the State of Qatar and its support for the intimidation and dissemination of rumors against the Foundation and the Alliance.
The meeting with Mr. Michel Forst also discussed ways of cooperation and coordination between the Alliance and Maat, on the one hand, and the Office of the Special Rapporteur on the other, contributes to assisting the efforts of human rights defenders in the world and protecting them from intimidation, intimidation, political and ideological polarization.
It should be noted that the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on human rights defenders was first established by resolution of the Commission on the Rights Human rights Law No. 61/2000 of 26 April 2000, the last extension of the mandate was made pursuant to Council resolution No. 34/5 of 23 March 2017
During their participation in the 38th session, Maat and the International Peace and Development Coalition are keen to open channels of cooperation and coordination with UN experts to serve global peace and development issues, and contribute to enhancing the participation of civil society organizations in UN decision-making and supporting international mechanisms for the protection Human rights.
